and drop the clutch and drop the hammer technique. That's mostly the style of cars with slicks or very sticky tires. 2.Probably the best way to launch a turbo car with street tires would be to rev it up and feather or pedal the clutch as you press on the throttle (This can be somewhat hard on the clutch, as you can glaze it's surface and cause it to loose much of it's friction ability). So when I say feather it, I mean ever so briefly until you feel the car start to go into boost and accelerate hard (it's obviously not an exact science, but a seat of the pants process that takes a little practice).
